Product-specific bundle
Created in the Bundles tab directly on the product. These bundles have the full feature set: all three discount types, additional discounts per Rule Builder rule, a visibility rule and a freely chosen display position.
A bundle is not a product of its own but a composition of existing catalogue products. It is attached to a product and appears on that product's page.

Created once under Catalogues → Bundles and then assigned to any number of products. Meant for compositions that fit many products and should not be maintained separately everywhere.
When creating one, the product card is not there yet. Components can be added once the bundle has been saved for the first time.
This is where you pick the components. For each one you set the position and the quantity; the list also shows product number, name and price.
The product the bundle is attached to is always included and always sits in first position with a quantity of one. It cannot be removed and cannot be deselected.
A variant product goes into the package either as a specific variant or as the variant parent. In the second case the customer picks the variant later, inside the bundle.
This is where you choose the type of discount and its value. A header row continuously shows the sum of the products, the discount and the price the customer will see.
The options are:
Below the discount value you can add any number of further values per discount type, each tied to a rule from the Shopware Rule Builder. If several rules match at once, the rule with the highest priority in Shopware wins.
The discount may be zero. The bundle then acts as a recommendation without a price advantage.
With a percentage discount the reduction is distributed proportionally across the tax rates of the components. With an absolute discount and a fixed package price the discount line carries the tax rate of the product the bundle is attached to, for the entire amount.
This is where you set the type, the validity, the display position and the initial state of the detail list.
With Complete bundle every component is fixed. With Selectable bundle checkboxes appear, the customer takes individual components out, and the price recalculates immediately.
If the rule under Validity does not match at the moment the page is opened, the bundle is not delivered at all. Without a rule it always appears.
Two: on a selectable bundle, which components are included, and for variant components, which variant it should be.
They cannot change the quantity per component; that is set by the merchant. The quantity of the bundle itself cannot be chosen on the product page either, it is always added once. Only in the cart can the whole bundle be increased, and all components scale with it.
If a variant choice is still open, or if every selectable component of a selectable bundle has been deselected, the button adds nothing to the cart and opens the detail list with a note instead.
A bundle is created on an existing product: open the product, go to the Bundles tab, add a bundle. The card has three tabs. Under Products you pick the components with their position and quantity, under Discount the type of price advantage, under Options how it appears. You do not need an additional product for the package.
No. A bundle is not a product of its own but a composition of existing catalogue products attached to a parent product. No additional article appears in your catalogue and no additional stock is created.
Yes, always, in first position with a quantity of one. The discount therefore applies to the complete package including that product. It cannot be deselected.
Product-specific bundles are maintained in the Bundles tab on the product; they can do everything: three discount types, discounts per rule, a visibility rule and a freely chosen display position. General bundles are created once under Catalogues, Bundles and assigned to many products; they only support a percentage discount and always appear in the product description.
Any number of product-specific bundles, plus up to three assigned general bundles through the fields Bundle I, Bundle II and Bundle III. Several bundles on the same product appear below one another in a shared block.
No. The quantity per component is set by the merchant. On a selectable bundle the customer only chooses which components are included, and for variant components which variant. In the cart the whole bundle can be increased, and all components scale with it.
Bundles can only be maintained in the system language. In any other language a note replaces the content of the tab.
